Changes, versions and withdrawing

After publication you can continue editing. The last published version stays publicly visible until you publish again. The passport then shows “Unpublished changes”.

Every publication is a new, immutable version with a digital signature. Older versions stay available – important for products that are already on the market.

If a product is no longer offered, you can withdraw the passport. The QR code then shows a notice. Published passports cannot be deleted so that printed codes never lead nowhere.
